Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness

91看片网 is committed to providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment where students can learn, live, work and thrive. The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and visitors are among the University’s highest priorities, and we work every day to create a campus community that supports both personal and academic success.

91看片网 maintains comprehensive safety and emergency preparedness programs designed to help protect students and the campus community. The University utilizes a variety of security and communication measures to help keep students informed and safe. Emergency alerts are distributed through text messages, email, and other communication channels to provide timely information regarding weather-related campus closures and delays, campus emergencies, safety concerns, and other operational disruptions. Students are automatically enrolled in the university emergency notification system. Campus buildings are equipped with fire alarm and life-safety systems, and emergency procedures are regularly reviewed and practiced. Students are encouraged to report safety concerns, suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, or emergencies to University personnel, Residence Life staff, Student Affairs, or the Valley City Police Department so that issues can be addressed promptly and appropriately.

The University works closely with the Valley City Police Department, which provides law enforcement services for the campus community. The Police Department responds to and investigates reported incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns while partnering with university personnel to help maintain a safe campus environment. Through this collaboration, students benefit from coordinated emergency response, crime prevention efforts, and ongoing public safety support.

These standards guide the University’s efforts to maintain safe facilities, support emergency preparedness, and promote the health and well-being of the campus community.

Creating a safe campus environment is a shared responsibility. Students are encouraged to be aware of their surroundings, follow university safety guidance, and look out for one another.
