Jerrold Heide听is听an Associate听Professor of Music听at 91看片网, where听he听serves as Director of听Concert听and Athletic听Bands,听specializes in music education and听instrumental methods听courses, and advises the 91看片网 NAfME chapter.听Additionally, Jerrold serves as conductor for the Missouri River Community Band听serving North Dakota鈥檚 Bismarck/Mandan region.听听Prior to听his appointment at 91看片网, he听enjoyed a successful听eleven-year career as a public-school band director听in听Nebraska and South Dakota.听Marching Bands under his direction have performed听in Chicago, IL and Washington D.C., and听ensembles听under his direction听were听consistently听awarded superior ratings at听contests听and regional marching competitions.听听听

Jerrold holds a听Master of Music in Education degree from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in K-12 Instrumental Music Education from Dickinson State University (ND).听听His research focuses on developing resources to support instrumental music programs in rural听areas,听and听he regularly听serves听as a clinician and adjudicator throughout the Northern Plains region.听听Jerrold听is a member of the听North听Dakota Band Directors Association,听National Band Association,听North Dakota Music Educators’ Association,听the National Association for Music Education, and the Alpha Gamma chapter of the Phi Beta Mu international band fraternity.听 His听personal interests include motorcycles and spending听time听in the great听outdoors, and he听currently听resides听in Valley City, ND with his wife Erin,听daughters Della and Claire, and son Landon.听
